Types of STI tests and costs
During your office visit, blood, urine or swab will be taken and sent to a laboratory for testing. Results will be available within 1–2 days and we will call you with the results.
Not sure of which test or tests to have performed? Talk with your provider about your current risks and which test(s) are most appropriate for you during your office visit.
Below are the types of tests and self-pay prices if you choose not to run a test through your insurance company.
Since insurance plans vary in terms of co-pays and other factors, we’re unable to provide an exact price if you choose to process your visit and testing through your insurance. If you choose to pay with insurance, we accept most major insurances, TRICARE and VA, Medicare and Medicaid (for the state in which you are being seen in). We also accept cash, checks, credit cards, and Health Savings Account cards. Note: ARKids requires a physician referral in advance of the visit.
