(July 17, 2015) Urgent Team, an independent operator of urgent care centers across the Southeast, recently welcomed Nurse Practitioner Lucy Sturdivant to the Dyersburg location at 2395 Lake Road.
“Lucy has significant experience as a Nurse Practitioner and we are proud to welcome her to the team in Dyersburg,” said Nancy Becker, Division Vice President. “Her knowledge from numerous healthcare settings such as Vanderbilt Hospital, family care practices, public health and long term care will be a great benefit to our Dyersburg location.”
Sturdivant, who lives in Dyersburg, has held previous roles as a Nurse Practitioner in this area and is familiar with serving this community. She has been working as a Nurse Practitioner since 2007 and has gained a variety of clinical experience, working with patients of all ages providing both acute and chronic care in hospital, clinic and long term care settings.
She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in Nashville, Tennessee, and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Tennessee at Martin in Martin, Tennessee. Sturdivant is board certified in Family Practice by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, is a member of Tennessee Nurses Association and in 2009 she coauthored a peer reviewed publication in Critical Care Nursing Quarterly.

Located beside Los Portales, Urgent Team is open seven days a week, seeing patients Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. No appointment is necessary and the center accepts most insurance plans, including Medicare and Medicaid.
