MADISON, TN. (Feb. 11, 2019) – Urgent Team, one of the Southeast’s largest independent operators of family and urgent care centers, has opened a location in Madison at 1905 Gallatin, Pk. North, next to Starbucks.
Urgent Team – Madison provides family and urgent care, as well as wellness services, on a walk-in basis. The center is open seven days a week and treats a variety of non-life-threatening medical conditions and needs including:

Leading the healthcare team are Nurse Practitioners Amanda Colson and Sheena Simon. Most recently, Colson served as a Nurse Practitioner at UrgentMD and Dube Orthopedics in Hermitage, TN. Simon earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. She previously worked as a Nurse Practitioner at The Little Clinic in Murfreesboro.
“Madison and the Rivergate area are growing fast and providing convenient and affordable care for urgent, but non-emergency needs, is a primary focus we are intent on providing this community,” said Tom Dent, Urgent Team Chief Executive Officer and Chairman.
The Madison location is open Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Sunday 1 to 5 p.m. Most insurance plans, including TRICARE, Medicare and Medicaid, are accepted, as well as cash and credit cards.
