New Walk-in Urgent Care Center Opens in Springdale

Springdale, AR (November 4, 2019) Washington Regional Urgent Care opens today in Springdale at 3300 W. Sunset Ave., next to AR Transmission. This will be the sixth Washington Regional Urgent Care in Northwest Arkansas, joining locations in Rogers, Harrison, Bentonville, Fayetteville and Johnson.

The Springdale location is open seven days a week and provides treatment for injuries, illnesses and conditions, such as:

Leading the healthcare team are nurse practitioners Joel Larru and Kathryn Martin. With 15 years of healthcare experience, Larru spent 10 years honing his skills in the ER and ICU departments. His most recent experience was in the ER at the US Department of Veterans Affairs in Fayetteville. His prior roles included serving in the ER at Mercy Hospital in Fayetteville and the ICU at Sparks Regional Medical Center in Fort Smith. He earned a master of science in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Martin obtained a master of science in nursing from Chamberlin University in Downers Grove, Illinois. Her experience includes serving as a registered nurse in the emergency department at Washington Regional and at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri.

Washington Regional Urgent Care – Springdale is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday 1 to 6 p.m. Walk-ins are welcome or for added convenience, patients can schedule a same day or next day appointment online with Hold My Spot®. Most insurance plans, TRICARE and VA, Medicare and Medicaid, as well as cash and credit cards, are accepted.
