New Walk-in Urgent Care Coming to Austell

AUSTELL, Ga., (June 13, 2023)   Urgent Team Walk-in Urgent Care is set to open a new clinic at 1025 East-West Connector, next to Starbucks, later this summer.

Currently with 18 Urgent Team Walk-in Urgent Care centers in Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas, and Georgia, the company is eager to serve this growing community. “We are delighted to have the opportunity to serve the on-demand healthcare needs of Austell seven days a week,” said Ellis Harris, Urgent Team Division Vice President. “Our goal is to meet and exceed the increasing need for quality care delivered in a convenient location at an affordable price.”

Urgent Team will provide urgent care, family care, wellness services, and occupational health services on a walk-in basis. With onsite X-ray and lab tests, the healthcare staff will treat patients with medical needs, such as:

  • Asthma and allergies
  • Medically supervised weight loss
  • Flu, colds, viral illnesses
  • Ear and eye injuries
  • Bites, stings, allergic reactions
  • Skin conditions, including burns
  • Broken bones, sprains, strains
  • Stitches
  • COVID-19 testing and vaccination
  • Immunizations and vaccinations
  • Diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting
  • Occupational health services
  • Urinary tract infections

The center will be open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most insurance plans, TRICARE and VA, Medicare and Medicaid, as well as cash and credit cards, are accepted.
