KNOXVILLE, TN (October 19, 2020) – Urgent Team Walk-In Urgent Care opens today in the Knoxville community of Halls Crossroads at 6942 Maynardville Pike, across from Sonic.

Leading the healthcare team is physician assistant Deserie Cook. She transferred from the Urgent Team center in Maryville where she has cared for patients there since October 2018. She earned a Master of Health Science Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Knoxville. Cook brings six years of medical experience, treating patients of all ages, in walk-in urgent care, orthopedic and pediatric settings.
Urgent Team – Knoxville is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Most insurance plans, TRICARE and VA, Medicare and Medicaid, as well as cash and credit cards, are accepted.
