West Point, MS (August 12, 2019) – Urgent Team Walk-In Urgent Care welcomes nurse practitioner Lisa Tomlin to its healthcare team in West Point.
Tomlin graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. With more than 20 years of nursing experience, Tomlin has worked in family medicine, hospice care, infectious disease, endocrinology, diabetes education and as a Cytotechnologist. Tomlin most recently served as nurse practitioner at Kindred Hospice and Family Clinic in Starkville. Prior to this role, she spent several years in Temple, Texas at Scott & White Hospital in the outpatient Endocrinology Department and also implemented a hospital-wide diabetes quality improvement initiative.
