Cullman, Ala. (July 5, 2021) – Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care opened its sixth location today at 1311 2nd Ave., SW, next to Cullman Auto Mall.
Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care – Cullman is open seven days a week and provides urgent, family and wellness care, as well as occupational health services and X-rays. Walk-ins are welcome, or for added convenience, plan a same or next day visit online with Hold My Spot® or reserve a Telemedicine visit.

Leading the health care team are Nurse Practitioners Cindy Hawkins and Desiree Washburn. Hawkins and Washburn transferred from Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care in Decatur. Hawkins obtained a Master of Science in Nursing and a Post Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner Certificate from The University of Alabama in Huntsville. She has extensive experience in emergency medicine and urgent care settings. Washburn earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from The University of Alabama. She brings 15 years of urgent care and emergency department experience to the role.
The center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Most insurance plans, TRICARE and VA, Medicare and Medicaid, as well as cash and credit cards, are accepted. For more information, visit HHUrgentCare.org.
