HAZEL GREEN, AL. (October 27, 2022) – Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care plans to open a new urgent care center in Hazel Green in early December. The center will be located at 14451 Hwy. 231/431 N., across from Foodland.

Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care – Hazel Green will be open seven days a week and provide urgent care, primary care, wellness services, and occupational health services on a walk-in basis. The care team will treat patients with a variety of medical needs including:
- Asthma and allergies
- Flu, colds, viral illnesses, and COVID-19 testing
- Bites, stings, allergic reactions
- Broken bones, sprains, strains
- Diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting
- Urinary tract infections
- Ear and eye injuries
- Skin conditions, including burns
- Stitches
- School, sports, wellness, and DOT physicals
- Immunizations and vaccinations
- Occupational health services
With the opening of this location, Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care will have eight walk-in urgent care centers in Alabama: Cullman, Decatur, Florence, Huntsville, Bailey Cove, Madison, and Muscle Shoals.
All Huntsville Hospital Urgent Care locations are open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Most insurance plans, TRICARE and VA, Medicare and Medicaid, as well as cash and credit cards, are accepted.
