Fort Smith, Ark., (April 26, 2021) – Baptist Health Urgent Care opened a second location today in Fort Smith at 1910 S. Zero Street, across from Sutherlands.

Leading the healthcare team are nurse practitioners Michelle Phillips and Tessa Tran. Both most recently served at the original Baptist Health Urgent Care center on Rogers Avenue. Phillips graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway and has experience in emergency department and pediatric care. Tran, who earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, brings experience treating patients in hospital settings of all ages for a variety of healthcare needs.
The center is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Most insurance plans, including TRICARE and VA, Medicare and Medicaid, as well as cash and credit card are accepted.
