With more than 20 years of experience, Nurse Practitioner Carol Hughes will lead the Cabot team.

Baptist Health, in a joint venture with Urgent Team, one of the Southeast’s largest independent operators of urgent and family care centers, currently has four other urgent care centers in Benton, North Little Rock, Bryant and Jacksonville.

“We look forward to providing urgent care services to the residents in Cabot,” said Troy Wells, president and CEO of Baptist Health. “Providing convenient access and affordable care for urgent, but non-emergency needs, is a strategic focus we’re intent on continuing in Arkansas.”

“We’re privileged to partner with such a respected healthcare organization,” said Mike Dupuis, Urgent Team Division Vice President. “Our goal is to meet the growing patient needs for quality care delivered in a convenient location at an affordable price.”

Baptist Health’s participation in urgent care provides unscheduled access to care for patients, as well as supports Baptist Health physicians who want to provide an after-hours option to their patients. While an individual’s

primary care provider should be the main choice since the physicians knows the patient’s entire medical history, sometimes immediate care is needed.
