KENNESAW, Ga., (May 23, 2022) – Urgent Team Walk-in Urgent Care is set to open a new center at 3980 Jiles Rd., next to McDonald’s in late June.
When a minor illness or injury can’t wait, Urgent Team will offer family care, urgent care and occupational health services seven days a week with extended hours. Patients can simply walk-in, schedule online with Hold My Spot™ or setup a telemedicine visit.
“Whether it’s a non-life-threatening injury, vaccination, sports physicals or other wellness care, it’s important for families to have a quality healthcare option that’s comprehensive and affordable,” said Ellis Harris, Urgent Team Division Vice President. “Urgent care services are a fast, cost-effective option to replace the emergency room, or waiting to get an appointment with a physician.”
Currently with 15 Urgent Team Walk-in Urgent Care centers in Georgia (Rome), Tennessee, Mississippi and Arkansas, the company is eager to expand in Georgia. “We are delighted to have the opportunity to serve the on-demand healthcare needs of the Kennesaw community seven days a week,” Harris said. “Our goal is to meet and exceed the increasing need for quality care delivered in a convenient location at an affordable price. With onsite X-ray and lab tests available, Urgent Team – Kennesaw will treat patients with medical needs, such as:

- Bites, stings, allergic reactions
- Stitches
- Broken bones, sprains, strains
- School, sports, wellness and DOT physicals

- Wellness vaccinations
- Urinary tract infections
- Physicals for men, women and children
- Occupational health services
