(Dec. 23, 2016) Sherwood Urgent Care is pleased to announce nurse practitioner Mika Loosey has joined the Batesville team.
Loosey graduated from Lyon College in Batesville with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and later graduated with another Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lester Cox College of Nursing in Springfield, Missouri. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.
Loosey is in her seventh year of practice as a nurse practitioner. Most recently she worked as an Advanced Practice Nurse at Your Home Advantage headquartered in Deerfield Beach, Florida, where she conducted patient assessments, evaluations, physical exams, diagnostic testing, patient education, and home assessments in the northwest Arkansas area. Her nursing experience also includes pediatric care.
Sherwood Urgent Care in Batesville is located at 1547 E. Harrison Street, beside Econo-Mart Pharmacy. The centers is open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. No appointment is necessary most insurances are accepted.
